During my recent trip to Italy, I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Colonne, which seamlessly blends old-world charm with breathtaking views. Perched atop Santa Maria del Monte, the hotel offers an impressive backdrop of the Sacred Mountains and a picturesque village steeped in history. Our culinary experience at the hotel was a highlight; the 'eight thoughts of the chef' dinner left us marveling at the creativity and meticulous presentation. Dining on the terrace, surrounded by nature, truly elevated the moment, making it a perfect occasion for celebration. The hospitality was exceptional, with staff members going above and beyond to ensure our visit was memorable. I couldn't resist the allure of the lobby, where we indulged in delightful Italian coffee alongside homemade sweets crafted by 'Mamma Vanna. ' Lastly, the serene vibrancy around the hotel motivated us to explore the cobbled paths leading to the nearby Sanctuary of Santa Maria del Monte, revealing not just stunning views but a rich cultural experience. This stay was truly the highlight of our Italian journey, and I highly recommend Hotel Colonne for anyone looking to immerse themselves in beauty and hospitality.
